Devoted followers of the actress are calling for that a person who leaped a fence and touched the actress during Thursday's Wicked: For Good debut be arrested or expelled from Singapore.

A widely shared clip reveals the individual from Australia bypassing camera operators and charging at Grande while the actors made its way down a yellow carpet flanked by supporters.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo promptly wrested the surprised actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the gathering by guards.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "free after being detained", though official papers indicated that he was set to attend court on the next day. It is unknown if he was formally accused.

Record of Disruptions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Troll Most Hated", has disrupted a concert or event. His Instagram account contains videos of him interrupting other celebrity events, including jumping on stage at the artist's Sydney show in recently and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers performance in the area last year.

"There needs to be action enforced against him as this is obviously a punishable act," stated an Instagram follower, in a reply to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his behavior.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" one Instagram user remarked.

Followers Express Concern Over the Star's Well-being

Numerous supporters accused Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had revealed experiencing PTSD after a terrorist explosion at the finale of her May 2017 concert in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and wounding many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" said a further message on Instagram.

Some supporters also questioned guards at the Thursday event for not being sufficiently alert; while different individuals demanded online networks to ban Mr Wen's content.

Aftermath and Event Details

In videos spreading on the internet, Grande looked surprised when she was touched by the individual. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed consoling her while Mr Wen was escorted away by staff.

Grande has not issued a statement on the situation, and the premiere activities continued without further issues.

Fans at Wicked premiere
Many of Singapore supporters had waited to greet the cast of Wicked

Hundreds of supporters had assembled in a sea of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good regional premiere in a Singapore mall, including a number who had stood in line for as long as many hours before it commenced.

The film, to be premiered on the 21st of November, is the second of a two-part version of the well-known stage production Wicked, which centers on the unlikely bond between two very different characters.

The production itself is a derivative of the 1900 book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the character Glinda Glinda, was decked out in a champagne pink sequin dress at the gathering while Erivo, who portrays the villainous character, wore a sleek black dress featuring roses.

They were joined by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the top-earning film of the previous year in the UK, and scored a dozen Academy Award nods, winning a pair for excellent wardrobe and artistic direction.
