Iran is ready to restart atomic talks with Washington as long as it is approached with "dignity" and "honor", Iran's top diplomat has announced.

Abbas Araghchi stated exclusively dialogue was effective, and disclosed recent overtures had come from intermediaries to restart talks with the Trump administration. He said Iran had zero unreported enrichment locations, and Tehran was not yet able to permit the International Atomic Energy Agency to access struck enrichment centers for security reasons.

Navigating a Difficult Path

The foreign minister is treading a difficult path since Iran aims to avoid be seen to be acting from a situation of vulnerability, and he consistently maintained that Iran had arisen more resilient militarily and mentally from the Israeli-US attack on its nuclear sites in June.

He was addressing at a strategic meeting in Tehran where he reaffirmed that Iran had "an absolute privilege to enrich uranium domestically that it will never give up" – the key factor of the deadlock in the previous talks.

Previous Talks Unexpectedly Terminated

The previous five rounds of discussions between the United States and Iran were ended suddenly and hostile termination on 12 June when Israel, with American backing, struck Iran's enrichment centers in a two-week conflict that culminated with the American leader declaring the facilities had been destroyed. Following this, EU nations exercised their right to reimpose international penalties, but Iran maintains they have not had a significant effect.

Magic Solution Proposed

Iran's diplomats stated they felt they had reached a "ideal resolution" to the nuclear fuel concern in earlier negotiations, when it was agreed an local partnership with Washington's engagement could enrich uranium. Both sides would have been able to claim victory since home-based processing would have persisted and the US could be confident that Iran's atomic project was solely for peaceful purposes.

It had not been settled in the discussions that Washington's technical specialists could operate within Iranian territory, but that was a reasonable assumption of the partnership suggestion. The Iranian foreign ministry has been accused of non-responsiveness in the face of Trump's direct instinctive approach, but Tehran states dialogue is not part of a show.

Diplomatic Stance

In his address to the forum, intended to depict the US as a hegemonic power that misuses the concept of worldwide standards, Araghchi declared the two-week conflict revealed the clash could not be settled by combat operations. He asserted the strikes began with a American requirement for an unconditional Iranian surrender and concluded with an unconditional call for a halt to hostilities.

Iran is certain the first strikes by Israel were executed with complete American awareness and collaboration, making faith hard to rebuild.

Dialogue Remains the Final Solution

The foreign minister said: "Tehran was not the one that had fled dialogue; it was the United States and the European states that had repeatedly sought to dictate their desires during the talks. Dialogue can still be viable and stays the final solution to settle conflicts, but its requirements, rules and principles must be adhered to."

"If they talk to the Iranian people with the approach of respect and honor, they will receive a reply in the identical tone."

Repair and Recovery

In what is described by Tehran representatives as the conflict of restoration and reconstruction, the foreign minister claimed he was confident Iran's security strengths "are much stronger than preceding 13 or 14 June of this year. Every aspect of our defense have been restored. We acquired multiple understandings from this engagement; we have discovered our personal limitations and the weaknesses of the adversary."

He continued: "We successfully passed this conflict. Our atomic expertise, which they intended to obliterate, continues to exist. The sites and gear, if damaged, will be rebuilt; what is important is the determination of the nation of Iran and then the national cohesion that they aimed at, but were unable to break. The citizens of Tehran have become more resilient, more cohesive, and more endorsing of the government and the nation in the wake of this invasion."
